Scott Adsit once told an audience the president had been shot, for comedy’s sake

Scott Adsit is best known for his work on 30 Rock, voicing Baymax in Big Hero 6, and co-writing and producing the Adult Swim series Moral Orel. He’s also been a longtime member of the main stage cast of The Second City. The A.V. Club interviewed Adsit recently, and he shared a number of stories from his time on stage, perhaps none more memorable than the time he and Adam McKay told their audience that President Clinton had been shot.
