Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World gets the Eclectic Method treatment

Here at The A.V. Club, we’re big fans of Eclectic Method and his funky pop culture video remixes, which have been used to celebrate everything from Back To The Future, Doctor Who, and Star Trek, to Wes Anderson and Jon Stewart. His latest video is a salute to Edgar Wright’s high-concept comic book comedy Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World. Electric Method constructs his music from the film’s various battle of the bands sequences while his imagery focuses mostly of the film’s literal battle sequences. Though it clocks in at just over a minute long, the video squeezes in most of the film’s famous faces, including Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh, Mae Whitman, and Jason Schwartzman. We must point out, however, that this tribute is severely lacking in Alison Pill yelling, “We are Sex Bob-Omb! One, two, three, four!”
