Seahawks punt returner gets the Mario Kart treatment
Fans of the Seattle Seahawks have been excited about rookie kick-returner Tyler Lockett since the team traded up for him in May. He delivered immediately with a 103-yard kickoff return touchdown in the first preseason game, but struck again on Saturday against the San Diego Chargers.
Lockett zigged and zagged for a 67-yard punt-return touchdown in the second quarter to give the Seahawks the lead. But as if that wasn’t enough, Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman had a splendid idea:
Luckily, Seattle has some savvy fans, and Twitter user @whoisjoserivera delivered the goods and then some, making for arguably the most fun punt return in NFL history.
