Seal in that last bit of wintry chill with the Scandinavian noir of Borderliner
Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Tuesday, March 6. All times are Eastern.
Top pick
Borderliner (Netflix): Netflix’s latest, relatively unheralded import hails from the iciest depths of Norway, where the temperatures are cold, and the people even colder. At least that’s what we surmise from the number of bleak, brutal crime dramas that have arrived on American shores in recent years, a wave of Scandinavian noir that now brings us Borderliner, the saga of a murder cover-up that comes to haunt the detective who did the covering up. Also, judging by one prominently placed subtitle in Netflix’s trailer for the show, Borderliner is an extension of the Snowman Cinematic Universe. They’ve given us all the clues.
Regular coverage
The Flash (The CW, 8 p.m.)
Black Lightning (The CW, 9 p.m.)
This Is Us (NBC, 9 p.m.)
Wild card
Kevin (Probably) Saves The World (ABC, 10 p.m.): The supernatural series starring Jason Ritter as a hapless saver of souls has yet to be renewed for a second season, so its parenthetical “probably” is in question as it heads into its season finale. But this potential series finale definitely features Leslie Jones as Ritter’s substitute celestial guide.
