TBS’ delightfully absurd police comedy Angie Tribeca has always put on a faux-serious tone for its promos, but this teaser for the show’s third season might be the most faux-serious one yet. That’s mostly because it teases a dramatic storyline where Rashida Jones’ Tribeca is on the hunt for a serial killer, with a Hannibal Lecter-esque figure played by Chris Pine offering some sort of assistance from behind bars. The actual show absolutely won’t turn into Silence Of The Lambs, but this teaser makes a compelling case for why that would be weirdly fun.
Serial killer aside, this Angie Tribeca teaser also reveals that the new season will premiere on TBS on April 10.
