Seattle’s New Gods want the ending spoiled on “How’s It Going To End?”

While ’90s revivalism has been infiltrating every part of pop culture, it’s not always a bad thing. In the case of Seattle’s New Gods—their location being part of the name—it means taking cues from some of the stranger hardcore acts of that time—namely The Jesus Lizard. Though Seattle’s New Gods don’t hew too closely to the sound of those post-hardcore provocateurs, it takes that band’s unpredictable nature and sets it to the kind of raging hardcore that falls somewhere between Ceremony and Single Mothers. The A.V. Club is streaming all of the band’s latest two-song 7-inch, which is available now through Anybody’s Flowers.
