Sebadoh announces the release of its first new LP in 14 years
Sebadoh will release its first new LP in 14 years this September. Defend Yourself comes out Sept. 17 on Joyful Noise Recordings and, according to the band, it “marks a return to the self-recorded DIY ethos of early Sebadoh albums” like Sebadoh III and Bakesale.
For those who that think that sounds promising, the band also just released a new EP, the Secret EP, which earned its name from the secret recording sessions the band held during its production. The five tracks on the Secret EP have been floating around Sebadoh’s Bandcamp page for a little while now, but they're now available in one digital package. A proper LP release—both on 10-inch black vinyl and 10-inch green marble vinyl—will happen later this month through Joyful Noise.
The band also has a number of tour dates later this summer, all of which are listed below.
