Sebastian Bach, Perez Hilton to be Rap Superstars

Guilty fans of VH1's White Rapper Show and The Surreal Life have an all new source of schadenfreude: Perhaps in an effort to prove Nas right, MTV is putting another nail in the coffin of hip-hop with its latest competition, Celebrity Rap Superstar, which pairs celebrities such as Skid Row's Sebastian Bach and gossip blogger Perez Hilton with rap mentors like Redman, Paul Wall, Too Short, Warren G., and Bubba Sparxxx in an effort to turn each of them into "master rappers." Bach, Hilton, and other notables like Napoleon Dynamite's Efren Ramirez, Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson, and Kevin Federline's ex Shar Jackson will battle each other for—according to MTV—"mad money and mad respect," while dealing with "a never-ending supply of blunders and beef." Mmm, beef.

The show premieres tomorrow night; for a taste of what to expect, check out Perez Hilton giving the "hippity-hippopotamus" his best shot to an unamused Tone Loc.
