See A.V. Club editor Keith Phipps live at Chicago's CIMMfest tomorrow

Not a typo. Not a mistake. It's a thrilling live appearance by, well, me. I'm on a panel at the Chicago International Movies And Music Festival (CIMMfest, for short). It's called "Acting Like A Musician," a discussion of musicians-turned-actors and why some thrive on screen and others fail miserably. Joining me on the blue-ribbon panel will be Matty "Ballgame" Robinson of the great Filmspotting podcast, Rob Christopher, a fine writer for Chicagoist, John Edginton, director of Robyn Hitchcock: I Often Dream Of Trains, and some mysterious "others." That's tomorrow in the fourth floor conference room of the Chicago Cultural Center. It's free. And be sure to check out the rest of CIMMfest whether or not you make the panel. It's going on through Sunday and looks pretty neat.
