See Joseph Fiennes as Michael Jackson in the trailer for Urban Myths

When it was announced last year, Sky Arts’ Urban Myths seemed like a deliberate provocation, casting Shakespeare In Love star Joseph Fiennes as dead pop star Michael Jackson, on a 9/11 road trip with Marlon Brando and Elizabeth Taylor. Now, Sky has released a new trailer for the series—which debuts in the U.K. on January 19—that ladles in appearances from Bob Dylan, Timothy Leary, and Hitler to boot.

The series centers on popular urban legends, like the idea that Cary Grant (as played by Ben Chaplin) might have introduced Leary (Game Of Thrones’ Aidan Gillen) to LSD, or the old story about Dylan showing up at the wrong person’s house and asking to be brought to Dave. Excepting Fiennes—who seems to be doing the same high-voiced weirdo impression you might see at any given college improv show—the casting is pretty top-notch, at least, especially Stockard Channing as Taylor and Brian Cox as a sarcastic, mumbling Brando, mocking Jacko and Liz from the back seat of their fleeing car.
