Ever since Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon announced their separation last month, some have speculated that Sonic Youth's last scheduled show last night in Sao Paulo, Brazil might be the band's last gig ever. Nobody (outside of the band anyway) knows for sure if that's the case; officially, Moore and Gordon have only said that Sonic Youth's future plans are "uncertain." Fleetwood Mac weathered far worse than this and managed to be one of the biggest bands in the world, so Sonic Youth shouldn't be counted out just yet.
