Sesame Street parodies Boardwalk Empire, adorably

Sesame Street, that most cutting purveyor of cultural critique, has released a new parody of HBO's violence-and-sex-soaked gangster series, Boardwalk Empire—but with birds! Birdwalk Empire features all of the gritty drama of the source material, only Steve Buscemi's character is replaced with Nucky "Ducky" Thompson and Vincent Piazza's character is replaced with Clucky Luciano. When Ducky and Clucky's crews clash on the birdwalk, it looks for a second as though things could end in birdshed, but with some prompt mediation on the part of Agent van Cuckoo, the two gangs are able to settle their differences. Nobody gets whacked, although some do get quacked…because they're birds.
