Fans of the Head And The Heart might like Avers, considering the two groups share a drummer, Tyler Williams. The group released its debut, Empty Light, last year, is coming out of SXSW with a little buzz, and plans to release a new LP later this year. Below, The A.V. Club has the premiere of “Vampire,” a psych-influenced track that draws a little from the Dandy Warhols. Described by the group as “some sort of spaceship dance party with all your best friends,” the track is definitely infectious in that ebullient kind of way.
