Shameless self-promotion department: Come see our own Todd VanDerWerff talk TV with other critics
If you’re in the city of New York this Saturday and looking for something to do, you could do worse than heading down to 92Y Tribeca at 200 Hudson St. to observe our own Todd VanDerWerff on a panel of TV critics at the New York Television Festival. The panel will discuss all manner of questions televisual, and it will also feature New York magazine’s Matt Zoller Seitz, TV Guide’s Matt Roush, and Salon’s Willa Paskin, all of whom will presumably be there mostly to gaze adoringly at Todd and pepper him with questions about what he thinks about things. The event begins at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, and free tickets can be reserved on the NYTVF website.
Also: Todd and some of the other New York-based A.V. Club writers would very much enjoy if you would join them for a Saturday night gathering of excitement and fun. If you’re at all interested in such a meet-up, please drop him a message via his Twitter account or start planning the fun in comments. We really don’t care.
