Shia LaBeouf revives “Shia LaBeouf Getting Arrested,” arguably his most famous work

Artist Shia LaBeouf—the co-creator of such works as “#IAMSORRY”, “He Will Not Divide Us,” and “French Fry Bowling Alley Freak-Out”—staged an impromptu revival of his most famous project, “Shia LaBeouf Getting Arrested,” in Savannah, Georgia last night. According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the actor-artist was in the state working on his latest film, The Peanut Butter Falcon, when the artistic spirit apparently moved him, to the tune of charges of obstruction, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.

LaBeouf most recently staged the piece back in January, when he got into an altercation with ”alt-right” agitators at “He Will Not Divide Us’” original home in New York. This latest run was first noted by the dedicated art-watchers at TMZ; meanwhile, critics have been effusive about LaBeouf’s performance, awarding him a night in jail and a $3,500 bond for his work.
