In good news for people who enjoy Skyping with their favorite celebrities, yet don’t enjoy the legal consequences of attempting to do that, Showtime has renewed Web Therapy for a fourth season. The Lisa Kudrow comedy has continued to be a solid, if quiet performer since it was first adapted from her online series, which is due to wrap its fifth season next month. Given how little promotional push it’s given at the network, it’s probably the inexpensiveness of the production and Showtime’s usual inertia that’s kept Web Therapy around this long, but whatever the reason, it’s welcome news for those who enjoy its understated charms. It’s also welcome news for celebrities who want to do guest spots but don't necessarily want to wear pants.
