Nine years after the original Sin City, here’s the teaser for its sequel: Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. The noir-ish films are based on Frank Miller’s series of graphic novels by the same name, and Miller wrote and co-directed both films along with Robert Rodriguez. In addition to the stars from the 2005 Sin City—including Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Mickey Rourke and Bruce Willis—the sequel will star Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Ray Liotta, Lady Gaga (?!), and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
The film is based on four of Miller’s stories, which all take place in the fictional Sin City. Brolin and Gordon-Levitt are the leads for two of the stories, and Alba and Rourke anchor the other two. It will be released August 22.
