In 2010, Patrick Stewart was knighted by Queen Elizabeth, a welcome surprise for the veteran actor. The honor, while being one that he holds dear, has prevented him from obtaining dual citizenship and fully participating in American politics. It’s not all bad, though, as knighthood occasionally nets him airline extras and tables at nice restaurants. In the video above, Sir Stewart talks about his life before and after knighthood.
