Sirius-XM merger hits resistance

That deal that could put satellite radio under the control of one big company is getting a tough grilling in Senate hearings so far. Reports find senators pressing the CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio, which wants to merge with XM Satellite radio, on whether the new network would offer pornographic and/or Christian content, and on the wonkier side, The Washington Post covers the debate over whether the merger would be good or bad for consumers, as Sirius announced plans to offer a cheaper package (with fewer channels) if the merger goes through.
