Sit Down, Shut Up pulled/NBC passes on new David E. Kelley drama
Despite switching Sit Down, Shut Up out of Fox's main Sunday night animation block (relegating it to 6 p.m. CST) and only ordering five episodes of its first season, Fox didn't want to let sleeping dogs lie; instead, the network has declined to air the finale this Sunday, replacing it with a King Of The Hill rerun. And given the fact that Fox has yet to renew Mitch Hurwitz's new show, this is probably the end.
In other news, NBC decided not to pick up David E. Kelley's new Legally Mad drama, which starred Kristin Chenoweth, also a cast member on SDSU. This, coupled with the demise of Pushing Daisies, means one thing: Someone get that gal some solid work already.
