Skype founders to launch TV service

You might've thought "The Venice Project" was the title of some new Dan Brownian spy thriller, but it's the working nickname for Joost, a new Internet TV service that Skype's founders (who sold that company to eBay in 2005) are trying out. BBC News reports that the service will be free and ad-supported, but isn't impressed with Joost's content so far (though the company is rather vaguely promisng more after the trial period). More details from the Associated Press here.
