Slash to start producing slashers
Like other musicians turned movie moguls such as Rob Zombie, guitar-rocking hat Slash is getting into the picture business, launching his very own Slasher Films (it was meant to be!) with an eye on producing throwbacks to the horror films of the ’70s and ’80s—or as Slash puts it, “The days where horror movies actually scared the hell out of you.” His first project, Nothing To Fear, will follow a “young family as it tries to reinvent itself by moving to a small town in rural Kansas,” only to be “tormented by an ancient demon with an insatiable blood lust.” Adding an extra dose of kick-ass marketing buzzwords, Slash raised a bottle of Jack Daniels and slurred, “My audience is made up of young, edgy, discerning consumers, with an appetite for quality and a hint of anarchy." Man, it’s been way too long since we listened to Appetite For Quality.
