Who he is: Slipknot, a.k.a. Christopher Weiss
His power: He’s introduced in Suicide Squad with the vague descriptor, “Here comes Slipknot, the man who can climb anything.” So, good at climbing?
His story: Suicide Squad director David Ayer has explained that Slipknot’s backstory had to be cut from the finished film, so there’s very little known about the character, at least the on-screen DC Extended Universe iteration. He joins up with Task Force X just outside Midway City prior to the mission, and after being talked into escaping by Captain Boomerang, snaps a soldier’s neck and attempts to flee. However, it turns out the bombs implanted in the neck of each criminal assigned to Task Force X are very real (contrary to Boomerang’s assurances), and Slipknot’s is triggered, blowing his head off.
