Snoop Dogg's new cookbook includes Lobster Thermidor, gin and juice
Snoop Dogg loves to put his name on stuff he enjoys, which makes a fair amount of sense when he’s hosting a game show or selling a line of fancy bongs, and now he’s venturing into a new field of branding with his very first cookbook. This comes from The Guardian, which says the new collection of recipes, From Crook To Cook, will be available in October. The recipes are all explicitly “cannabis-free,” but the publisher promises that they’ll still “satisfy those munchies.” In a statement, Snoop Dogg offered this pretty solid quote: “You know it’s blazin’ up in my kitchen. I’m takin’ the cookbook game higher with a dipped and whipped collection of my favorite recipes, ya dig?”
Rolling Stone has some more information on the specific recipes, saying they range from “classy” (like Lobster Thermidor, the most Snoop Dogg-y of all Thermidors), “stoner-friendly” (like tacos), and even “Snoop Dogg-themed” (like gin and juice). We’re very curious what the other Snoop Dogg-themed recipes will be, since the example they used is the most obvious one possible. Maybe some variation on puppy chow, the peanut butter/chocolate/Chex mixture? He could call it Doggy Chow.
