Some of Game Of Thrones' cast could have a future in folk music when the show ends

Game Of Thrones can be a very grim and gloomy show, even when it sacrifices believability for a faster trip to the proverbial fireworks factory, so it’s nice to get the occasional reminder that actually working on the show isn’t quite so depressing or violent. Recently, Rory McCann (who plays The Hound, a.k.a. Sandor Clegane) and Kristofer Hivju (who plays Tormund Giantsbane, a.k.a. the future Mr. Brienne Of Tarth) showed off their musical chops with a fun Instagram video of the two of them singing a folk song together. Now, they’ve enlisted a few more singers into their merry group, with Iain Glen (Ser Jorah) and Richard Dormer (Beric Dondarrion) joining the other two guys for a take on Tom Waits’ “I Hope I Don’t Fall In Love With You.”

In the caption, Hivju says that their band is called Brotherhood Without Banjos and that they have an album coming out called What Will Fate Bring Us???, but that’s all probably—and unfortunately—a joke. Still, the red-haired kid who sang to Arya in that one episode has released a few albums, so maybe the Brotherhood’s career will really take off once this Game Of Thrones stuff is over.
