Someone made a Shakespearean version of Pulp Fiction

File this under “nerdiest video we've seen this week.” But also file it under “awesome.” Pulp Shakespeare is a faithful recreation of Pulp Fiction, duh, Shakespeare-style, iambic pentameter and all. Well, mostly faithful as the play is only 80 minutes long, a fraction of the actual film. Of course, a little probably goes a long way until “Zed hath shuffled off this mortal coil, sweetling” gets old. Still, yay creative theater nerds. The play premiered at the 2009 Minnesota Fringe Festival but the clip below is from a performance at the 2011 Hollywood Fringe Festival. (If you happen to be in the Santa Monica area and this seems up your alley, there's still time to catch a performance.) [via Reddit]
