Less than a day after that underwhelming photo was released, ABC’s rolled out the first teaser for Marvel’s Inhumans. It’s full of intrigue and threats, though we don’t actually get a glimpse at any of the royals. But it does sound like Ramsay Bolton is up to his old tricks; that’s definitely Iwan Rheon’s Maximus we hear plotting to overthrow Black Bolt (Anson Mount), the leader of the Inhumans. Maximus’ talk of “freedom for all Inhumans” is awfully seductive, but we all know what happens to people who fall into Ramsay‘s/Rheon’s thrall, so it’s probably best to just plug your ears—before he does.
Marvel’s Inhumans will begin holding court September 1 on ABC.
