Soon Black Mirror’s technological nightmares will be available in book form
According to the BBC, Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker is set to edit three collections of novellas that riff on his series. Neither Brooker nor publisher Random House have revealed the authors involved—besides calling them “leading fiction writers”—but given the caliber of talent that has worked on the show, we can only assume some notable names have cooked up the tales. And, yes, Brooker did make a joke about print media being outdated so you don’t have to.
Random House describes the first volume as containing “new, original, darkly satirical stories that tap into our collective unease about the modern world.” It’s scheduled for release in February 2018.
