Sopranos creator David Chase has his next feature film lined up

Since The Sopranos ended in 2007, creator David Chase has mostly taken it easy, dividing his time between writing and directing last year's Not Fade Away and fielding a steady stream of questions about his show's controversial ending. But Chase is wasting no time getting to work on his next project, selling a spec script for Little Black Dress, a film about a disabled Afghanistan veteran who comes home and finds herself involved in a "potentially lethal" investigation. She befriends an NYPD detective who helps her through the rough adjustment to civilian life. Chase will direct the film, and spend the majority of its press junket chafing against the inevitable stream of questions about The Sopranos.
