Soundgarden to play a number of May tour dates, like a real band

Soundgarden is emerging from its black hole once more to promote its latest record, King Animal. Chris Cornell and crew have a second run of dates lined up for this spring, including a stop at Columbus, Ohio’s Rock On The Range Festival, where they’ll co-headline with other revived, still-relevant contemporaries like Alice In Chains, Smashing Pumpkins, and Korn. A full list of dates is below, along with the Dave Grohl-directed video for the band’s latest single, “By Crooked Steps.”
