Soundgarden announced its reunion more than two years ago, though in that time the grunge stalwarts have been more of touring entity than a creative one. But now the band has finally released its first song since 1997's Down On The Upside, and it's a good one: "Live To Rise" is slated to officially drop as part of The Avengers soundtrack, but an early leak shows that the song sounds an awful lot like one of the radio-ready singles from Upside.
