Southland Tales, the long-delayed followup to Donnie Darko by director Richard Kelly, will be finally released in the U.S. on Nov. 9. The film debuted last year at Cannes, and was greeted so poorly that Kelly pulled the film and has been reworking it ever since. It is set in Los Angeles one year in the future, and follows a group of characters on the verge of a momentous July 4 celebration.
