Space becomes extra spooky in this trailer for Syfy's Nightflyers adaptation

Game Of Thrones is almost done with its run on HBO, and another network is finally getting into the George R.R. Martin business with Syfy’s adaptation of Martin’s novella Nightflyers. The last trailer we saw for Nightflyers wasted a lot of time on the people who made the show talking about how great it’s going to be, but this real trailer jumps into the spooky sci-fi stuff with a lot of ominous imagery, creepy singing, and the loud screeching sound that always accompanies sci-fi horror. The trailer doesn’t tell us much about what’s actually happening in Nightflyers, but it’s sort of a haunted house story set on a big spaceship, with some murders and a genetically-enhanced super-woman thrown in for good measure.

Nightflyers premieres on Syfy later this year.
