Spacehog still a thing, releasing a new record

Spacehog is back. The band that first hit it big in 1995 with rip-roaring single “In The Meantime” is releasing a new album—its first since 2001. As It Is On Earth will be out April 16 on the band’s own label and was funded in part via a Pledge Music campaign. Apparently, 166 enthusiastic fans really can make a difference.

As It Is On Earth was recorded with Bryce Goggin, who also made the band’s 1995 debut, Resident Alien. The Queen-imbued first single, “Glad To Know,” is out now, and, if nothing else, should at least remind the world that Spacehog still totally exists and that, yes, lead singer Royston Langdon was once married to Liv Tyler.
