Split Single’s sexy elbows saga continues, with help from Michael Shannon, Frank Black, and more

Jason Narducy—bassist extraordinaire for Superchunk and Bob Mould—continues his video saga today with a new installment of his “sexy elbows” series. Narducy’s blessing and curse—his sexy elbows—take away attention from his own musical ambitions, as the singer, guitarist, and songwriter behind the band Split Single, which just released the excellent Metal Frames. In this installment of his video series, Narducy finds himself under the medical care of actor Michael Shannon (playing his usual creepy self) and auditioning for such famous faces as Black Francis, Rick Nielsen of Cheap Trick, and Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy. Will our hero find his way back to his own project before it’s too late? You’ll have to watch to find out.
