Following in a grand tradition that goes all the way back to 2009, St. Vincent has been named Ambassador of Record Store Day. It seems a natural fit for the rock goddess, who’s helped shape music—literally—for over a decade. She appears to be taking her duties quite seriously, too. This is her statement on her appointment: “It is with deep honor and humility that I accept this ambassadorship. Rest assured I do not take my duties lightly.” If that weren’t enough, she also shot this Funny Or Die video.
