Stalking Garrison Keillor
Of all the celebrities to develop unhealthy obsessions with, it's doubtful that most would pick 65-year-old humorist Garrison Keillor, best known for dispensing folksy wisdom through A Prairie Home Companion. And yet, the author and radio show host recently asked a Minnesota judge to issue a restraining order against a Georgia woman, Andrea Campbell, who has been accused of harassing him by turning up at readings and through repeated phone calls, as well as sending him bizarre gifts like "a petrified alligator's foot, dead beetles, rocks, marbles, and magnets with his and Campbell's initials on them." Campbell has also been accused of camping outside Keillor's neighbor's house and sending him emails, including one that, Keillor says, "graphically described making love to me." And what was wrong with that, Garrison? Not enough Norman Rockwell references to get your rhubarb up?
