Looks like someone's feeling confident: Paramount has hired the writing team of Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman, and Damon Lindelof to write a sequel to the still-unreleased Star Trek reboot due out May 8th, Variety is reporting. Orci and Kurtzman are the team behind the Transformers movie, the TV series Fringe, and the aforementioned Star Trek movie. Lindelof is the co-creator of Lost. All are buddies with Trek director J.J. Abrams suggesting that he would play a part in the sequel as well.
