Star Trek: Discovery to boldly begin filming next week

Despite suffering a few (significant) setbacks, Star Trek: Discovery has assembled its crew, and will begin filming early next week. This comes from ComicBook.com (courtesy of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees), which has come across a list of in-progress productions in Toronto. If you’ll recall, that is precisely where Discovery is filming. Now, the show isn’t listed by name, but ComicBook.com believes it’s going by the alias of Green Harvest, because that’s the only Bryan Fuller-produced show that’s filming in Toronto right now. The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees’s database indicates that filming will begin on January 24. That still presents kind of a time-crunch for the production, since the show is set to premiere in May, so now would be a good time to kick things into warp drive. (Sorry, we couldn’t help ourselves.)
