The folks at Newsarama dropped a reminder today that David Bowie's guest spot on Spongebob Squarepants goes down Monday, Nov. 12 (check your local listings, we're too lazy). The special, titled Atlantis SquarePantis, features the erstwhile Ziggy Stardust as a character called Lord Royal Highness; Bowie calls it "the Holy Grail of animation gigs" on his website, and allegedly got sucked into the show while watching it with his daughter. Atlantis will be preceded by a 12-hour Spongebob marathon, and the special will be released on DVD Tuesday.
