Starz developing NASCAR drama Tits In The Pits

Reminiscent of ABC booking every show they could find with “bitch” in the title and Fox whipping out the checkbook for Chicks And Dicks, Starz has taken a shine to the similarly headline-grabbing Tits In The Pits, a one-hour drama set in the world of NASCAR blah blah blah you had us at “tits.” Aiming to be the network’s first tits-inspired series, non-historical division, Tits In The Pits follows the story of a woman who deals with her divorce from a famous NASCAR driver by forming her own racing team, courting big advertisers to sponsor it (a plotline that merits the show being described as a “red state Mad Men,” apparently), and thereby violating the NASCAR epigram of “No tits in the pits.” It comes from Friends With Benefits screenwriters Keith Merryman and David A. Newman, and by the time it actually makes it to TV, it almost definitely will be diluted to something like Rounding The Curve, so enjoy this now. [via Vulture]
