Starz is also so sure you'll love Magic City that it's already renewed it

At Starz, premium-cable freedom’s just another word for nothin’ left to lose, which is why it’s once again confidently renewed one of its original series weeks before its debut. The forthcoming Magic City now joins Spartacus: Blood And Sand and Boss in the lineage of Starz shows to get a second season before its first episode even airs, suggesting that the network is supremely certain that viewers will gravitate toward Jeffrey Dean Morgan and a succession of snappy suits and fedoras strutting through a mob-ridden, JFK-era Miami, even if the failures of fellow Mad Men-inspired period dramas The Playboy Club and Pan Am suggest otherwise. You can decide for yourself whether you want to be one of those viewers when the show premieres on April 6 (or during its sneak preview on March 30), but Starz is basically saying they don’t need you, so whatever.
