Stephen Colbert and John Oliver will hang out during The Late Show’s DNC live show

Stephen Colbert will be broadcasting The Late Show live during upcoming Republican and Democratic National Conventions, and now CBS has announced who will be staying up past their bedtimes (we assume) to join him. Colbert’s guests during the RNC will include President Obama’s anger translator Keegan-Michael Key, fictional president Tony Goldwyn, Bernie supporters Jenny Lewis and her band Nice As Fuck, and loud people Lewis Black and Billy Eichner. During the DNC, Colbert will play host to Aaron Sorkin characters Allison Janney and Jeff Daniels, wannabe public official Anthony Weiner, actual public official Elizabeth Warren, and perspective-haver Doris Kearns Goodwin. The aforementioned Black will not be the only Daily Show alum stopping by, as Colbert’s former cohort John Oliver will appear July 27.

While Colbert will broadcast from New York, there will also be people from The Late Show actually filing from Cleveland and Philadelphia. Colbert has deemed the RNC, “The 2016 Trumpublican Donational Coventrump—Starring Donald Trump as the Republican Party* *May Contain Traces of Republican.” Meanwhile the DNC, in his parlance, is “The 2016 Democratic National Convincing—A Technically Historic Event: Death. Taxes. Hillary.”
