Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell to reunite on stage

Those in the Tri-state Area (or anyone willing to drop money on a plane ticket) will soon be able to purchase tickets to see Stephen Colbert reunite with his old friend Steve Carrell at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center. November 21 will see the two come together for “A Conversation With Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell,” a fundraiser for the Montclair Film Festival. Colbert has previously held these annual “conversations” with Jimmy Fallon, Jon Stewart, and Jonathan Alter. Tickets go on sale Friday, October 3 and can be purchased on the Montclair website.

The former Daily Show colleagues have a long shared history. They both started their comedy training in Chicago, performing on the same improv team at Second City (Colbert was initially Carell’s understudy). The duo also briefly worked together on The Dana Carvey Show. Their time on The Daily Show was most notable for their heated Even Stevphen debate segments.

Hopefully their latest reunion will be as delightful as that time they reunited on The Colbert Report.
