Stephen Colbert’s “Hungry For Power Games” claim Bernie Sanders
Throughout election season, Stephen Colbert has been donning his best Caesar Flickerman getups to say goodbye to the candidates that have dropped out of the race. His Hungry For Power Games have covered the likes of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. But, last night, he finally got to tip his hat to the Tribute who stayed in the race way longer than anyone expected: Bernie Sanders, who endorsed Hillary Clinton yesterday.
In celebration of Bernie’s run coming to an end, the host did as any good one-percenter would. He drank some bubbly and ate some caviar, rubbing fishy salt in the wounds of all those “Feel The Bern”-ers angling for a revolution. Colbert’s final words to the Senator from Vermont: “Farewell, Bernie. No one else expressed the frustrations of so many Americans without blaming it on Mexicans or Muslims.”
