Under a new agreement, Apple (computers) will take control of the Apple brand, ending a 25-year conflict with Apple Corps, the Beatles' record company. Obligatory "Steve Jobs is a nice guy" press quote: "We love the Beatles, and it has been painful being at odds with them over these trademarks." And wouldn't you rather have a glowing translucent apple full of circuitry than a sour green apple full of nutrients?
