Steve Jobs will get a posthumous Grammy
It's about time that somebody pay tribute to Steve Jobs, whose death in October was met with nary a peep in the media back in October. The Recording Academy will honor the Apple co-founder with a posthumous Trustee Award Grammy for his contributions to the music industry, which include basically running the whole damn thing for the past 10 years. Other Trustees this year include musician Dave Bartholomew and recording engineer Rudy Van Gelder. The Grammys will air Feb. 12 on CBS. [via The Hollywood Reporter]
