Steven Universe (Cartoon Network, 7:30 p.m.): The story of Rose Quartz’s rebellion on Earth is by now a familiar one for Steven Universe fans, but when the opportunity to listen to Estelle speak at length presents itself in this exquisitely detailed animated series, you plunk yourself down to hear Garnet out. Resident Steven Universe historian Eric Thurm is ready to revisit the roots of the great Gem schism tonight, in the first of several new episodes this month.

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (The CW, 8 p.m.): Oliver Sava will be on hand to close out the third season, which we recently learned had a storyline involving a telepathic gorilla and former President Barack Obama.
