Storks are no longer in the family business in this teaser
Warner Bros. has just released a new teaser for Storks, an animated film of the non-Lego variety that features the voices of Andy Samberg, Kelsey Grammer, Keegan-Michael Key, and Jordan Peele. In this birds-minus-the-bees tale, we learn that storks stopped delivering babies because there was more money to be made in dropping off packages for an Amazon-like company, and not because medical school became too expensive for the wading birds. Like Mufasa and Simba before them, Hunter (Grammer) and Junior (Samberg) survey their courier kingdom as the father assures his son that he’s heir to all that he sees, barring some “monumental screwup.” Right on cue, we meet the source of that impending blunder—a baby girl who’s not quite the sibling her brother asks for in the opening scene. Junior and his friend Tulip will of course disobey his father’s wishes and try to get the baby to her new home, with a homing pigeon in hot pursuit.
This previously released clip for the film explained just how babies are made—don’t worry, it’s very suitable for work. Storks’ due date is September 23.
