Stranger Things cosplayers beware: Eggo recalls waffles in 25 states

Kellogg’s is urging frozen-waffle eaters to L’Eggo some of its products due to a possible listeria contamination. According to ABC News, the Battle Creek-based breakfast-food purveyor is recalling approximately 10,000 cases of its Eggo Nutri-Grain Whole Wheat Waffles in 25 states. A statement on the Kellogg’s site indicates that this is a voluntary recall, following “routine tests that the company conducts which identified the potential for contamination.” Listeria can cause serious, potentially fatal infections, but Kellogg’s has not yet received any reports about its spread. The company has issued information to help consumers determine whether the Eggos they have in their homes are the ones that are being recalled—they have best-by dates of November 21-22, 2017—and is offering a full refund for these purchases. But Stranger Things and Parks And Recreation fans that already have homestyle or buttermilk recipe versions at home should be able to move forward with their Eleven and Leslie Knope cosplay.
